Dirty Laundy is one of Hollywood's sexiest speakeasy bars; it's the Houston brothers' version of a dive bar but it's the more upscale than down and dirty.
Talking of going down...you'll need to go decsend into the subterranean lair, before you get to No Vacancy, where a doorman is perched at the top of the stairs to send you down.
The space was actually a true speakeasy bar in the 1920s and frequented by Rudolph Valentino himself. It's called Dirty Laundry because in the prohibition era people would hide their liquor in laundry baskets. While there are no baskets today, you'll find the menu looks like a laundry list of a clean collection of craft cocktails ready to be washed down. This bar is worth going down to.
